Oral Cancer

Early signs of oral cancer are lumps, patchy areas and lesions in the mouth. Other symptoms include hoarseness, difficulty speaking, sores that will not heal in your mouth, unusual or excessive oral bleeding, or lumps near your jaw such as the throat or neck area.

The dental community maintains that tobacco and excessive alcohol are two of the biggest problems that lead to oral cancer. If you are experiencing any of the above symptoms, do not hesitate to call our office immediately. We can use new technology such as Vizilite to look for any suspicious lesions. Early detection and prevention are the keys to successful treatment.
